The Fall - Off

The Fall-Off by J. Cole began in 2016 as a response to writer’s block, with the goal of returning to pure, competitive rap. Over the years, several songs were planned for it, and Cole hinted it could be his final album.

The project evolved into a larger, double album influenced by later events involving Kendrick Lamar and Drake, ultimately representing a decade-long effort to create his best work and a possible closing chapter of his career.

The Off - Season
